Maryna Bogdan is a writer and director born and raised in Ukraine. Her 2023 short film "Nana" was made an official selection of an Academy Award-qualifying LA Shorts International Film Festival and various other film festivals in Southern California.

Maryna's directing style combines satire with emotional depth, using distinct visuals such as black-and-white or vibrant colors, sharp cuts, and characters breaking the fourth wall to engage directly with the audience. Maryna is passionate about telling powerful, female-led stories.
